Abaya Couture with DAS

D.A.S. Collection

D.A.S. is comprised of two sisters, Reem and Hind Beljafla, who are the designing duo behind the label. They hail from the UAE and create trendy, unique, and fashion forward abayas.
(Their abayas are so gorgeous, I can’t even breathe properly right now.)
They recently showed in Duabai Fashion Week with their Fall 2010 collection, some of which can be seen below:


Here are a few of my favorites from the Resort 2010 collection:

DAS is now being sold in Harrods as well, which I find so exciting. It’s so wonderful to be able to find Islamic fashion in mainstream stores. I’m just fascinated with this world of couture and high end abayas. I love it…and I need some!

    This collection isn’t that nice to me. I don’t know to me, they’ve designed them in such a way that they don’t even look like abaya anymore. The just look like dresses.

    This collection isn’t that nice to me. I don’t know to me, they’ve designed them in such a way that they don’t even look like abaya anymore. The just look like dresses.
