It’s incredible how dependent we are on technology. So when it was time for me to buckle down and start writing on Sunday evening, I realized my internet was out. Horror. The technician won’t be out here until Wednesday to fix it, but thank goodness today it’s back on sporadically, so here’s to hoping this post gets published today.
Remember when I was in NY? Yea, me too. So Tanvi, Dip-tea and I took a stroll through Central Park before FNO to take some photos…
and it was right about then that I felt like a different kind of fashion blogger. one who takes outfit of the day photos. It was fun! But I think I like mixing it up here on HM. I like the outfit photos interspersed between a jumble of other fashion related posts.
| Scarf- The Limited | Similar Shirt- Liz Claiborne via TJ Maxx | Similar Skirt- F21 | Similar Biker boots- Target Bag- Aldo | Similar Watch- c/o La Mer Collections via Lucky FABB goody bag |
You can definitely tell what that I just mixed and matched everything I brought with me to NY. I wore the same scarf to Lucky FABB and the same boots, bag, and shirt out my first night in NY. I only brought a small-ish suitcase with me aaaaaand I’ll never do that again. I know you’re reading this Mom and shaking your head. Haha, my mom always tells me to pack less, and this time I think I kind of did. But my next trip to NYC? I’m packing a ginormous suitcase filled with at least two complete, extra outfits.
How do you pack when you travel? Are you a. compulsive over-packer? Or b. under-packer/mixer matcher? I’m usually a., but for some reason, I b.’d it to NY. Never again. Although I must say, I think I did pretty well with what I had and most of the overlapping came with the shoes and bags. Oh, and what do you think of the outfit? The boots with the skirt? I’d love to know!
