I love party scarves, the ones I wear for special occasions. My every day scarves tend to be super light cotton ones that I don’t need to wear an undercap with. I’m not one of those girls who wear beautiful, light and floaty chiffon scarves with embellishment just going grocery shopping. Let’s face it, I’ve got 2 kids now, and stuff doesn’t stay as pristine as it used to. When Covered Girl sent me this Elegant Lace concoction, I fell in love with it right out of the bag, or tissue to be exact. Feminine and elegant, this is the perfect scarf to wear to top off a sophisticated ensemble, and that’s exactly what we did here.
I paired the scarf with a lovely dress and jacket (more on the rest of the outfit in another post), and while I was pondering what type of scarf it would go with, this lace one popped into mind. I thought they fit together perfectly.
As for the scarf itself, it’s a wonderful addition to my hijab collection! What really sets The Covered Girl apart, is that it’s really less trend-driven and more classic, they always seem to know what’s chic and sophisticated.
