Before I had kids I didn’t know just how quickly they grow out of their clothes! I mean, we can wear the same clothes we bought last year, but children most definitely cannot! I know, because I tried. So we always seem to be shopping for pint sized outfits for the little ones, and that can get expensive. This is where sales come in. I don’t think I ever buy full priced kids clothes. It seems pointless to spend so much money on something that they can’t even wear in 4 months time. Sale time at Old Navy is like double awesome. Not only are their clothes more reasonably priced, but on sale, $7 dresses and $2 socks are just something I can’t resist. So this weekend, we went out and picked up this adorable pink and red heart dress along with some tights and little ruffled socks for our new little girl. For my son who’s four, a basic jeans and a bright plaid rolled sleeve shirt were perfect for a brunch we hosted at our home.
There they both are, hanging out in the living room in their brand new crisp and clean outfits. That most definitely did not last very long though, I assure you…
After stocking up on summer essentials for the kids, I of course couldn’t help but buy a few great pieces from the Old Navy sale for myself. I mean, perfect spring colors and fabrics, I couldn’t resist!
Like this chiffon dress, ridiculously comfy khakis in two colors and these shirts. I’m so super excited about the pants! This is the first time trying the bold khaki pant trend and what a way to start. Not kidding, I’ve worn them every day since I got them.
