Today I bring to you a phenomenal collection from Copenhagen Fashion Week with Danish designer Malene Birger. This collection was so substantial that if I owned every piece from it, I would be set for the rest of my modest fashion days. Or at least a couple years. Tons of daywear and evening looks, along with a lot of inspiration for those of us who can’t actually afford Malene Birger. My style right now is very relaxed, I fancy myself an Isabel Marant girl (even though I don’t own a single Marant piece), and the style of these outfits are in a similar vein. Very cool girl, simple and easy looks that require minimal layering. A pant, a long shirt, a scarf, and done. An oversized sweater, a wide leg pant. Even the more elegant and dressier looks are still so easy to wear. A turtleneck, a huge ballgown and pearls.
What more does a hijab-wearing, Isabel Marant-fancying, mother of two need? Do you have a favorite look? If you could choose any one single look from the photos above, which would it be? I mean, in like fantasyland. Since we’re there already.
